TecHub AS and Rota Media have partnered to launch Vink electronic business cards in Kenya.
The e-business cards touted as contactless, seamless and affordable and eco-friendly has been completely designed, and provides more ways to share one’s contact information through short messaging text, email, scanning QR code, and social media Platforms.
TecHub AS, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Henrik Mæhle said that, increased perpetual job hoping and inevitable increased reliance on technology accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic, paper business cards are losing their value and appeal.
Speaking during the launch, Mr. Mæhle said Vink electronic business card has come at the right time and its aim is to completely replace the use of paper business card in order to reduce paper waste and eradicate the increasing use of paper for making business cards in this day and age where the advanced technology available such as our smart phones we take everywhere with us, should be better utilized for making and exchanging business card. “Go paperless — greener planet,” he added.
Rota Media co-founder, Petar Nisevic said their company is fully committed in helping companies digitize their business cards and get rid of all the clutter in the drawers. Being a green product helps companies to cut down on paper usage, and enables others go totally green.”
